Liars and Fakers

Wow, who out there doesn't know a liar? Who out there doesn't lie? Do you know someone that doesn't or has never lied? I seriously doubt it. Of course, well at least I think, there are different "degrees" of lying. We lie to our kids so we don't have to explain the complicated truth about something, they may not be "ready" for it yet. We lie so we don't hurt someones feelings. Sometimes we lie to ourselves just because we don't want to deal with the reality that we are clearly aware of.
So what's worst? A liar or a faker? To me (at least today) a faker is worst. I define a faker as one who manipulate, alter, deceive or to give a spuriously genuine appearance to something. I don't want to offend anyone but those that wear those color contact lenses and false finger nails just gross me out for some reason. I have a problem with those that are not true to themselves.
We know these people they are everywhere. I use to work with this girl who looked like she had it all. Nice car, expensive clothing, hair, make up and nails freshly maintained. She use to share about her weekend experience, going here and there, meeting this person and that. She truly gave the impression that she attract what she presented. Then one day she came up to me an asked me if she could borrow $750.00 because she was about to loose her car. Why she thought I had that kind of money to just give away let alone why she thought would I give it to her, I would never know. But it was the best Come to Jesus talk I had ever had with someone.
Basically I told her to stop acting like someone she wasn't One can get too caught in the lies that you become a counterfeit. A faker.

Who are the Real Liars?

My fiancee works in the car business and has for the last 15 years. He is one of the most honest people I know. It breaks my heart when I hear someone say in causal conversation that car salesmen are sleazy, thieves or liars. I can't tell you how many stories I hear from him on clients lying about their income or the condition of the car they are trying to trade. You hear the same about Lawyers and Politicians. These people are no different then any other professional. I would love to hear from those folks who are blacklisted because of their profession and examples of the liars they deal with.
